4th of July Marin County Fair KRON 10PM Standup - July 4, 2026

This is a live standup we did at the Marin County Fair on the 4th of July, 2026. 250 Celebration. I was the photographer for our reporter Scott, this was our 10pm live shot.

This video features the KRON 4 News 10 p.m. live standup from the Marin County Fair on July 4, 2026. The report was broadcast from the Marin County Fairgrounds in San Rafael as the community gathered to celebrate Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the United States.

With the sights and sounds of the fair in the background, the live shot captures the atmosphere surrounding one of Marin County’s biggest annual celebrations. Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed carnival rides, games, food, exhibits, live entertainment, and other family-friendly activities. The evening concluded with the fair’s traditional Fourth of July fireworks show over the lagoon near the Marin County Civic Center.

The standup provided KRON 4 viewers with an on-location look at the celebration during the 10 p.m. newscast. It also offered a glimpse behind the scenes of a live television news broadcast, showing how a reporter, photographer, and production team bring a major community event to viewers across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Recorded on July 4, 2026, this segment preserves a moment from a historic Independence Day celebration and the energy of reporting live from the Marin County Fair.

Behind the Video

This was more of a traditional live shot for the evening. We did a live shot at 9PM for the start of the fireworks show and a live shot after during the 10PM news. I was behind the camera. We walked around earlier and got shots of the fair, interviewed some guests, and then went back for the live shots.
